In 1993 Power Products were asked by a small company Dental Systems Design Ltd to offer maintenance to a small number of dental sites, offering support to hardware supplied by a  previous supplier who had ceased trading, Within two weeks Power Products were building the computers and installing the networks for the Dental Market, using Dental Systems Design software around the country.

Eventually DSD were bought by Denplan who increased the user base rapidly converting Dentists with other systems to DSD because of the simplicity of use.

Henry Schein who own the Clockwork dental software bought DSD from Denplan in 1998 with the intention of bringing everything 'in house' within the first year.

Power Products supports a large number of sites throughout the UK and more recently have an arrangement to supply hardware to Dentist's using Software of Excellence software
