Message from Software of Excellence to Users of DSD who obtain their hardware support from Power Products
Software of Excellence acquire the intellectual rights to the DSD software and will deliver support to DSD customers who have a support contract with Henry Schein
It is Software of Excellence's intention to support the DSD product for the foreseeable future. This includes providing NHS and other statutory upgrades (for example supporting the Euro when this becomes a requirement) until such time as attrition threatens the viability of sustaining this support.
Software of Excellence do not propose to coerce DSD customers to change to our EXACT. We will invite you to road shows to allow you to assess the merits of such a change and hope that following on the experience of our service you will consider EXACT as the system to succeed your current system if and when you wish to make a change.
Software of Excellence do not employ hardware support people and do not sell hardware. If you currently obtain these services from Power Products - this is great as we have a good relationship with Brian Jones and his team. In the last two years we have worked together to convert a number of DSD customers to EXACT.
In the event of a 'grey' system problem that is not clearly hardware, operating system, or software we will work directly with Power Products to obtain a resolution.
Software of Excellence are delighted to take the responsibility for DSD Customers' future support and hope we will enjoy a long and beneficial relationship.
