Unfortunately however, Computer Hardware does go wrong, and invariably it goes wrong at the most inconvenient of times. To further complicate things it can be extremely difficult to find a reliable specialist computer engineer or technician, who understands your specific configuration and your use of specialist software.

What is our Service Agreement Objective?
We understand that your objective is simple; if your computer hardware fails you want to have your computer hardware returned to normal as soon as possible. As such our objective is the same as yours. We have developed the following Service Agreement elements from our experience, which ensures that our customers achieve a minimum downtime.
What is included within the service?
The Power Products service offers you the following:-
In “Warranty Support”
If you have recently purchased new equipment recently you will have received some form of Warranty cover for your hardware. Our experience has shown that although this gives you “Peace of Mind” regarding the cost of the parts, it does not ensure that you have a rapid return to service. Often the onus is upon you to diagnose the problem, return the equipment to the manufacturer and wait until the part of product has been replaced and returned. Often this can take up to two weeks.
As such Power Products will take ownership of your warranty from any manufacturer and repair your machine using spare components held in stock, ensuring you achieve a 24hr Turnaround of your computer.
We will subsequently source the replacement part from you manufacturer and replenish our stocks.
This ensures that your maintenance downtime is kept to a minimum.
Out of Warranty Support
For older machines where the manufacturers warranty has expired we offer our “Out of Warranty” Support service:-

Priority Workshop Customer Service:
Customers whose computers are brought into the workshop will have their repairs dealt with immediately and will not go to the end of the queue.
Unlimited Telephone Support:
We offer an expert help-line to resolve many know problems. Many simple faults can be fixed over the telephone, providing you with the quickest possible “return to normal” time. This service is offered during normal office hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
Free On-Line Diagnostic Support:
We offer a Remote Diagnostic Support to many of our customers whom have exploited the benefit of the PC Anywhere capability. If you do not have this we are happy to supply this software and assist in its installation.
Loan Server Support:
If the failed machine is your Server, a replacement Server will be despatched within 24hrs. This service can be achieved if you ensure that you provide us with your “Back-Up” data. We will then re-build your machine or loan you a replacement and despatch it to you within 24hrs.
“3 Strikes and a Visit” Support:
We know how frustrating a problem can be that does not get resolved efficiently. This situation can be exaggerated when dealing with remote helpdesks and computer specialist. As such we offer a “3 Strikes and a visit” Service. Should a problem re-occur three times without satisfactory resolution a Specialist engineer will be despatched to resolve the problem on site immediately.
Field Engineering Support:
Our objective is to get your business up and running as soon as possible. If it becomes clear that the best way to achieve this is to send a Field Engineer to site this will be facilitated. We will also endeavour to give you priority same day callout service.
Free Annual Virus Check & Defragmentation:
When your computer is brought into us. We will also check that your virus software is up to date. We will give you a verbal report following our check on your computer.
Free Back-Up Check
We have ten years experience of Dental Systems Design and four years experience of Software of Excellence; as such we know what needs to be backed up and where it should be on your machine. We will confirm whether the back-up is functioning correctly and rectify any faults!
Free Transfer of Data:
When you purchase a new computer from us we will transfer all data from your old computer to any new computer you buy from us.
Call-Out, Workshop & Installation Discounts:
You will benefit from the following discounts for our onsite Call-out, Workshop and Installation service.
You will only be charged on our onsite Callout rate of £55.00 + vat instead of usual £ 85.00 + vat (including the first hour) rates.
You will only be charged on our Workshop & Installation rate of £ 45.00 + vat per hour instead of £65.00 +vat per hour
